Lovely deep rich colour and velvety matte finish. Good rugged sole. Comfortable - roomy but not too loose. Found the pull on tabs not as easy to hook my finger into as those on some other boots I own but hopefully they'll "relax" with time.
I've still to try them on a damp terrain to test their waterproofness so can't comment on that yet.
