Lovely deep rich colour and velvety matte finish. Good rugged sole. Comfortable - roomy but not too loose. Found the pull on tabs not as easy to hook my finger into as those on some other boots I own but hopefully they'll "relax" with time.
I've still to try them on a damp terrain to test their waterproofness so can't comment on that yet.

Boots seem sturdy and well made, without being too heavy. Haven’t tested for waterproof qualities yet. I found the inner sole quite firm and not the softest underfoot so have started them off with an insole for cushioning. The inside is however lined with a soft brushed fabric that feels comfortable. I think they should be good for gardening
